The structure of the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by elemental analyses and spectral data (IR, ¹H - NMR and mass spectroscopy) . The newly synthesized compounds were subjected to in vitro anticancer screening against human liver cancer cell line (HEPG2) and showed anticancer activity
