This study attempts to study the translations by selected translators for rendering
nature images in five selected romantic poems by William Wordsworth (1770-1850):
―The Ode‖ ‖ or ―Intimations of Immortality‖, ―The Solitary Reaper‖, ―Strange Fits Of
Passion Have I Known‖, ―Daffodils‖ and ―She Was a Phantom of Delight‖. This
study determines who they succeeded or did not succeed in conveying the nature
imagery through translation. The diversity of translations helps in conducting a
comparative study of the different translations of the poems using comparative
analysis. This includes a comparison between source texts and target texts on the one
hand and comparing translations to each other on the other hand. This research
discusses the semantic and implied meanings in the source texts and the translations
of the poems to answer the question: how adequately are poetic nature images
conveyed through the translation of romantic poetry into Arabic. The results of this
investigation show that the interference of translators represented in the changes made
in their translations of nature images affects the images in the produced Arabic texts
by applying different strategies, and consequently, the nature image is to some extent
different in the target text from that in the source text

يحاول هذا البحث دراسة الترجمة التى قام بها مترجمون مختارون للصور المتعلقة بالطبيعة فى خمس قصائد مختارة للشاعر الإنجليزى وليم ووردزورث (1770-1850) و هى: “Intimations of Immortality”, “The Solitary Reaper”, “Strange Fits Of Passion Have I Known”, “Daffodils” ,“She Was a Phantom of Delight”. . و تهدف الدراسة إلى تحديد أى المترجمين نجح فى نقل الصور المتعلقة بالطبيعة عبر ترجمته لها و أيهم لم يتمكن من ذلك. فيساهم هذا التنوع فى إجراء دراسة مقارنة للترجمات المختلفة المتاحة باستخدام التحليل المقارن. يتضمن التحليل المقارنة بين النص المصدر و النص الهدف من جهة و المقارنة بين النصوص المترجمة للمترجمين المختارين من جهة أخرى. و تسعى هذه الدراسة لتتبع المعانى الدلالية و المعانى الضمنية فى كل من النص المصدر و النص الهدف للتعرف على مدى نجاح الممترجمين فى التوصيل الدقيق للصور المتعلقة بالطبيعة و ذلك للإجابة على السؤال: إلى أى مدى يتم نقل الصور المتعلقة بالطبيعة من خلال ترجمة الشعر الرومانسى إلى اللغة العربية. تبين نتائج هذا البحث أن تدخل المترجمين متمثلا فى التغييرات التى تقع أثناء تصديهم لترجمة الصور يؤثر فى نقل تلك الصور عبر النصوص الناتجة باستخدامهم لإستراتيجيات مختلفة فى الترجمة و بناءً على ذلك تخرج تلك الصور فى النص الهدف مختلفة عما يقابلها فى النص المصدر.
