Marjoram and licorice are extensively used as medicinal plants . Marjoram essential oil (MEO) was determined by GC/MS . The main compound was Ü - terpinene (7.37%) y- terpinene (7.25%)champhene (4.64%) and terpinene 4-o1 (6.33%) . The antimicrobial activty of MEO was determined by using Disc Diffusion method
