The epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a membrane bound tyrosine kinase involved in callular signaling transduction pathways that control vital functions such as proliferation, differetiation and apoptosis . the overexpression of EGFR was observed in several types of cancers such as the non-samall cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) which is among the most common causes of cancer-related death.
