Audiovisual translation (TAV) is the kind of translation that is used on screen, including dubbing, subtitling and audio descriptions.
This work deals with the study of dubbing which is one of the main methods in TAV where dubbing comes to support works of art. Dubbing is based on replacing the original audio recording with a new recording in the target language, taking into consideration oral synchronization

This study also takes into consideration the cultural references of the television series Unauthorized Living into Arabic. Although the geographical location of Spain is relatively close to Arab countries, significant variations appear on the cultural level. These differences become particularly evident when adapting a television series deeply imbued with the Spanish culture, and presenting it to an Arab audience. Cultural cues and connotations are often a major challenge for the translator (Pedersen, 2005). We will, therefore, analyze the tools that the translator uses when translating (Venuti, 1995), although the translator uses methodologies that help move the Target output between localization and alienation, as well as other factors that are also taken into consideration in the present study.

تُعرَّف الترجمة السمعية البصرية (TAV) بأنها أي ترجمة يُقصد استخدامها على الشاشة، بما في ذلك الدبلجة والترجمة والوصف الصوتي.
يتناول هذا العمل دراسة الدبلجة وهي واحدة من الأساليب الرئيسية فيTAV ، حيث تأتي الدبلجة لدعم الأعمال الفنية. تقوم الدبلجة على استبدال التسجيل الجديد باللغة المستهدف بتسجيل الصوت الأصلي، مع الأخذ في الاعتبار الاهتمام بالمزامنة الشفهية.
وتأخذ هذه الدراسة في عين الاعتبار أيضا ترجمة المراجع الثقافية للمسلسل التلفزيوني) من دون تصريح) لدبلجته إلى اللغة العربية. على الرغم من أن موقع إسبانيا الجغرافي قريب نسبيًّا من الدول العربية، إلا أنه تظهر تباينات كبيرة تظهر على المستوى الثقافي وتصبح هذه الاختلافات لافتة للنظر بشكل خاص عند محاولة تكييف مسلسل تلفزيوني مشبع بشدة بالثقافة الإسبانية وتقديمه للجمهور العربي. غالبًا ما تشكل الإشارات والدلالات الثقافية تحديًّا كبيرًا للمترجم(بيدرسين, 2005). لذلك تقوم الدراسة بتحليل الأدوات التي يستخدمها المترجم عند الترجمة (فينوتي, 1995) مع العلم أن المترجم يتمحور بين اتجاهين ألا وهما التوطين والتغريب في الترجمة بجانب العوامل الاخري.
