هدف هذا البحث إلى تعرف فاعلية استخدام المدخل البصري في تدريس الأحياء في تنمية المفاهيم البيولوجية والتفكير التأملي والدافعية للإنجاز لدى طلاب الصف الأول الثانوي؛ ولتحقيق أهداف البحث قام الباحث بإعداد البرنامج المقترح ودليل المعلم وكراسة نشاط الطالب لتدريس وحدة ( توارث الصفات ) وفقا للمدخل البصري، وتم بناء أدوات البحث وشملت اختبار المفاهيم البيولوجية ومقياس التفكير التأملي ومقياس الدافعية للإنجاز، وطبقت تجربة البحث على مجموعة (30) طالبة من مدرسة الحوامدية الثانوية بنات بمحافظة الجيزة، وأظهرت النتائج وجود فرق دال إحصائيا عند مستوى دلالة( 05 و0) بين متوسطي درجات الطلاب " مجموعة البحث "في التطبيقين القبلي والبعدي لصالح التطبيق البعدي، وهو ما يشير إلى فاعلية البرنامج المقترح القائم على المدخل البصري في تنمية المفاهيم البيولوجية والتفكير التأملي والدافعية للإنجاز لدى مجموعة البحث، وفي ضوء النتائج قدم البحث عدد"ا من التوصيات والمقترحات.

The aim of this research is to identify the effectiveness of using the visual approach in teaching biology in developing biological concepts, reflective thinking and achievement motivation among first-year secondary school students. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher prepared the proposed program, teacher's guide and student activity booklet to teach the unit (inheritance of traits) according to the visual approach. The research tools were built, which were the biological concepts test, reflective thinking scale and achievement motivation scale. It was applied to group consisting of (30) female students from Al-Hawamdiya Secondary School for Girls in Giza Governorate. The results showed a statistically significant difference at a significance level of (0.05 and 0.05) between the average scores of the research group in the pre- and post-applications in favor of the post-application, which indicates the effectiveness of the proposed program based on the visual approach in developing biological concepts, reflective thinking and achievement motivation among the research group. In light of the results, the research presented a number of recommendations and proposals.
