This research offers style book for journalistic translation, focusing on theoretical and analytical aspects of the translation studies, which may interest professional translators involved in the field of journalistic translation, and academic researchers who are studying the theories of translation and its links with the construction of cultures in the era of globalization. Therefore, it intended by analyzing techniques and strategies journalistic translation on the one hand and; secondly, the implementation of these strategies and techniques gathered practical and representative examples of texts from Arabic and Spanish newspapers, to conclude whether or not translation serves as a tool of resistance against stereotypes and prejudices. This study is divided into two chapters, the theoretical part presents the translation techniques in general and their strategies used with journalistic texts, while the second, the practical part contains a thematic guide, which analyzes the treatment of journalistic translation to important issues such as Gibraltar, Ceuta and Melilla, unemployment and elections in Spain, the Palestinian cause and the fight against terrorism, accompanied with glossary of terms and frequently expressions used by journalistic translation.
