تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى تَعَرُّف واقع الكفايات الرقمية لمعلمي الثانوي العام بمحافظة الجيزة بهدف وضع تصور مقترح لتطويرها في ضوء متطلبات التعليم الإلكتروني، ولتحقيق أهداف هذه الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي، كما تم تصميم أداة الدراسة - استبانة - لجمع البيانات، وطبقت على عينة تكونت من(300) معلمٍ ومعلمةٍ بالمرحلة الثانوية العامة بالمدارس الحكومية بمحافظة الجيزة، وأكدت نتائج الدراسة ضرورة الاهتمام بتطوير الكفايات الرقمية لدى المعلمين لتحقيق التعليم الإلكتروني الناجح، وضرورة التركيز على التدريب والإعداد المهني المستمر للمعلمين، وضرورة التغلب على كافة المعوقات البشرية والإدارية والمالية والتكنولوجية التي تواجه تطوير الكفايات الرقمية للمعلمين، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أنه توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين المعلمين الذكور والمعلمات الإناث لصالح مجموعة الإناث، وبين المعلمين بالإدارة الحضرية والإدارة الريفية لصالح معلمي الإدارة الحضرية. Developing a proposed vision for developing digital competencies for general secondary education teachers by identifying the reality of digital competencies for general secondary teachers in Giza Governorate, with the aim of developing a proposed vision for developing them in light of the requirements of e-learning. To achieve the objectives of this study, the descriptive approach was used, and a questionnaire was developed as a tool for data collection. The questionnaire was administered to a sample of 300 male and female teachers in public secondary schools in Giza Governorate. The study results emphasized the importance of enhancing teachers' digital competencies to achieve successful e-learning. It also highlighted the need for focus on continuous training and professional development for teachers, as well as overcoming human, administrative, financial, and technological obstacles that hinder the development of teachers' digital competencies. The study found no statistically significant differences in the level of digital competencies among teachers with higher education qualifications or postgraduate studies, except for competencies related to digital content design, internet usage, and dealing with cloud applications, which favored postgraduate education. The results also indicated statistically significant differences between male and female teachers, with female teachers demonstrating higher competency levels. Additionally, there were statistically significant differences between teachers in urban and rural areas, with urban teachers showing higher levels of competency
