| Summary, etc. | The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of different CO laser output as a laser <br/><br/><br/><br/>surface treatment on the shear bond strength of zirconia to resin cement. <br/>A total number of 21 square shape zirconia specimens with the dimensions of 10x10x2 mm <br/>after sintering cycle were sliced out of IPS e.max ZirCAD Prime disc via Isomet 4000, were subjected <br/>to different methods of surface-treatments and classified equally into 3 Groups; Sandblasting 50µm <br/>Al2O3 Group, CO 3 watt Laser Group, CO 4 watt Laser Group, all specimens of different groups <br/><br/>2 2<br/>were subjected to surface roughness analysis via Digital-Microscope , and additional specimens for <br/>each group were used for Scanning-Electron-Microscope imaging. <br/>All specimens were cemented to dual cure self-adhesive resin cement via customized teflon <br/>mold to obtain a circular cement layer of 2 mm height and 4 mm diameters, then all bonded specimens <br/>will be subjected to shear bond strength test by using universal testing machine, that performed with <br/>a cross-head speed of 0.5 mm/min . <br/>The results of the current study revealed that there was statically significant difference between <br/>Sandblasting group and both CO laser groups, with no statical difference of both CO laser Groups, <br/>2 2<br/>regarding shear bond strength, and All three groups showed no statistical difference regarding surface <br/>roughness average. |

| Summary, etc. | الهدف من هذه الدراسةة هو تقييم تأثير نواتج ليزر ثاني أكسةةيد الكربون المختلف على ربط الزركونيا بالمادة الالصةةق مقابل <br/>المعالج السطحي بالسفع الرملي. <br/>تم تقطيع ٢١ عينه من الزركونيا ذات الشكل المربع بأبعاد ١٠ × ١٠ × ٢ ملي متر بعد دورة التلبيد بواسط جهاز ايزو <br/>ميت 4000 وعرضهم لمعالج سطح مختلف وهما السفع الرملي و اليزر ثاني اكسيد الكربون ب نواتج مختلفه وهم 3 وات 4 وات ، <br/>خضعت جميع عينات المجموعات المختلف لتحليل خشون السطح عبر مجهر رقمي ، واستخدمت عينات إضافي لكل مجمو <br/><br/>ع <br/>للتصوير الضوئي-اإللكتروني و تم قياس قوة الرابط القصي للعينات باستخدام ال اختبار متعددة االغراض بعد ان تم لصق عينات <br/>الزركونيا بي االسمنت الراتنج بطول 2 ملي متر وقطر 4 ملي متر و تم كسر العينات عبر سرع الرأس بمقدار 0.5 ملي متر / <br/>دقيقه <br/>اظهرت نتاىج الدراسه الحاليه ان هناك فرق ذو دالله إحصائيه بين مجموع الزركونيا المعالج با لسفع الرملي و كال <br/>مجموعتي الليزر فيما يتعلق بقوة اللصق ، و ان ال يوجد فرق ذو دالله إحصائيه بين مجموع الزركونيا المعالج با لسفع الرملي و <br/>كال مجموعتي الليزر فيما يتعلق بخشون السطح . <br/>النتائج: <br/>1. ال يمكن استخدام ليزر ثاني أكسيد الكربون كطريق بديل للسفع الرملي في المعالجه السطحيه للزركونيا، ألنه لم يعزز قوة <br/>ارتباط الزركونيا باإلسمنت الراتينج.. <br/>2. أظهرت المعالجات السطحي المختلف بعد التلبيد تغييرات مورفولوجي وطبوغرافي على سطح الزركونيا. <br/><br/> <br/><br/> |
