520 #3 - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. Insufficient attention has been given by researchers to the feasible exit
strategy for State-owned enterprises (SOEs). This study aims to address
this gap by conducting a comparative analysis of commonly employed exit
strategies in developed and emerging countries. The objective is to identify
the most effective exit strategy for the Egyptian SOEs. To achieve this, a
series of questions have been formulated and answered, with the aim of
facilitating a successful privatization process.
The privatization decision and approach were found to exhibit variation
based on the government's objective and the specific industry being
targeted, as indicated by our comprehensive literature study.
This study aims to examine the process and techniques of privatization,
specifically focusing on the 32 Egyptian Owned Enterprises that the
government has chosen to exit or reduce its participation in. The objective
is to provide a recommendation for the most suitable exit route, enabling
the private sector to actively engage in economic activities.
520 #3 - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
