| Summary, etc. | تتكون الرسالة من مقدمة، وتمهيد يقدم لأهمية الحدائق عند المصري القديم، وثلاثة أبواب. وملحق للوحات. يتناول الباب الأول المفردات الدالة على الحديقة والعاملين بها ويطرح تساؤل حول مصمم الحديقة. بينما يتناول الباب الثاني بالوصف والتحليل جميع النصوص والآثار والمناظر للوصول في نهايته لجدول يلخص معايير تصميم الحدائق في مصر القديمة حتى نهاية عصر الدولة الحديثة، وأثر العوامل البيئية والدينية والوظيفية على تلك المعايير، وأهم النماذج من الحضارة المصرية القديمة. ثم يقدم الباب الثالث تطبيقًا عمليًّا على تلك المعايير باقتراح إعادة إحياء حديقة موقع مجمع معابد الكرنك الأثري. |

| Summary, etc. | Thesis has is divided into an introduction, a preface, 3 chapters, and Appendix of plates. The first chapter deals with the vocabulary that refers to the garden and its workers and questions about the garden’s designer. While the second chapter deduces garden design standards through describing and analyzing antiquities, texts, and inscriptions, the impact of environmental, religious, and functional factors on those standards. The third chapter presents a practical application of these standards by proposing to revive the garden of the archaeological site of the Karnak temple complex. |
