Summary, etc. This study investigated the effects of vermicompost, biochar, and <br/>compost on the growth, yield, and fruit quality of Sweet pepper plants under <br/>greenhouse conditions during two consecutive seasons. The treatments were as <br/>follows: T1 (100% vermicompost), T2 (75% vermicompost + 25% biochar), <br/>T3 (50% vermicompost + 50% biochar), T4 (50% biochar + 50% compost), T5 <br/>(75% compost + 25% biochar), and T6 (100% compost as control), Each <br/>treatment was arranged in three replicates. Results showed that vermicompost, <br/>either alone or integrated with biochar, significantly improved vegetative <br/>growth parameters (plant height, leaf area, and number of leaves). Moreover <br/>vermicompost treatments markedly increased fruit yield and improved fruit <br/>quality by elevating antioxidant compounds (total phenols, β-carotenoids, and <br/>ascorbic acid), while reducing nitrate accumulation in fruits. Although compost <br/>with biochar also produced positive effects, vermicompost-based treatments <br/>consistently outperformed all other treatments. These findings highlight <br/>the potential of vermicompost and biochar as sustainable and efficient organic <br/>amendments for sweet pepper production. By improving plant growth, boosting <br/>yield, and enriching fruit quality, these organic amendments provide <br/> promising alternatives to synthetic fertilizers, thereby supporting sustainable, <br/>environmentally friendly, and resource-efficient agriculture.

Summary, etc. أُجريت الدراسة لتقييم تأثير الفيرمي كمبوست والبيوشار والكمبوست، سواء منفردة أو في خلطات مختلفة، على نمو وإنتاجية وجودة الفلفل خلال موسمين بالصوب. أظهرت النتائج أن الفيرمي كمبوست منفردًا أو مع البيوشار كان الأكثر فاعلية، حيث حسّن النمو الخضري ورفع المحصول الكلي ومكوناته، وزاد محتوى الفينولات والبيتا-كاروتين وحمض الأسكوربيك والمواد الصلبة الذائبة مع خفض النترات لمستويات آمنة. كما أوضحت النتائج أن معاملات الفيرمي كمبوست تفوقت بوضوح على باقي المعاملات في جميع الصفات المدروسة. وتؤكد هذه النتائج أن الفيرمي كمبوست يمثل نهجًا زراعيًا مستدامًا ويدعم تحسين النمو والإنتاجية والجودة.
