| Summary, etc. | This thesis includes analytical contribution to the analysis of pharmaceutical compounds <br/>in pharmaceutical formulations either singly or in combination. Different analytical <br/>techniques were applied for the determination of formoterol fumarate dihydrate, in its <br/>single formulation and with its co-formulated drug, fluticasone propionate. Formoterol <br/>fumarate dihydrate is a long-acting beta 2-agonist utilized in control of asthma and <br/>chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, it is co-formulated with fluticasone propionate as <br/>a potent synthetic glucocorticoid receptor agonist which is used as an anti-allergic agent, <br/>anti- inflammatory and anti-asthmatic, in the form of inhaling powder or aerosol, for the <br/>management and treatment of asthma, allergic and non-allergic rhinitis also for <br/>management of symptoms for the corona virus patient. <br/>As well as the applicability of the developed methods for routine analysis of the studied <br/>drugs in pure form, mixtures, and their pharmaceutical formulations were checked for <br/>quality control laboratories assay. Also, the developed methods were compared <br/>statistically to the reported HPLC method. <br/>We highlight the impact of applying green analytical chemistry in the suggested techniques <br/>of analysis, demonstrating the greener and the eco-friend of the analytical performance <br/>techniques, as they neither use nor produce harmful or corrosive chemicals or toxic wastes <br/>generation. |
