This thesis includes analytical contribution to the analysis of pharmaceutical compounds
in pharmaceutical formulations either singly or in combination. Different analytical
techniques were applied for the determination of formoterol fumarate dihydrate, in its
single formulation and with its co-formulated drug, fluticasone propionate. Formoterol
fumarate dihydrate is a long-acting beta 2-agonist utilized in control of asthma and
chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, it is co-formulated with fluticasone propionate as
a potent synthetic glucocorticoid receptor agonist which is used as an anti-allergic agent,
anti- inflammatory and anti-asthmatic, in the form of inhaling powder or aerosol, for the
management and treatment of asthma, allergic and non-allergic rhinitis also for
management of symptoms for the corona virus patient.
As well as the applicability of the developed methods for routine analysis of the studied
drugs in pure form, mixtures, and their pharmaceutical formulations were checked for
quality control laboratories assay. Also, the developed methods were compared
statistically to the reported HPLC method.
We highlight the impact of applying green analytical chemistry in the suggested techniques
of analysis, demonstrating the greener and the eco-friend of the analytical performance
techniques, as they neither use nor produce harmful or corrosive chemicals or toxic wastes
generation.

تتناول هذه الرسالة دراسة تحليلية لبعض الادوية التي تحتوي على مجموعة الاميد سواء منفردة أو في مخاليط, وﻗد تم اﺧتيار مركب فورموتيرول فيومارات دايهيدرات بالاضافة الي فلوتيكازون بروبيونات والهدف مﻦ هﺬه الرسالة هو استنباط طرق جديدة تتميز بالبساطة والدﻗة ودرجة الحساسية المناسبة لتحليل هذه المركبات في وجود ﺧليط منها و/أو منفرده وكذلك في وجود أدوية أﺧرى، وإمكانية تطبيق الطرائق المستحدثة لتحليل اﻷدوية المختارة في مستحضراتها الصيدلية ومقارنتها بالطرق المرجعية .
