هدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة فاعلية برنامج تدريبي مقترح قائم على أبعاد التنمية المستدامة لتنمية الأداء التدريسي والوعي البيئي لدى معلمي الكيمياء بالمرحلة الثانوية في المملكة العربية السعودية. واتبع البحث المنهج التجريبي ذا التصميم شبه التجريبي ذا المجموعة الواحدة مع التطبيق (القبلي- البعدي) لأدوات البحث، حيث بلغت مجموعة البحث (30) معلمًا من معلمي الكيمياء بالمرحلة الثانوية بإدارة التعليم بمحافظة القنفذة بمنطقة مكة المكرمة، وقام الباحث ببناء البرنامج التدريبي القائم على أبعاد التنمية المستدامة، وتم إعداد بطاقة ملاحظة الأداء التدريسي، واختبار الإنجاز المعرفي لمعارف البرنامج، واختبار المواقف السلوكية، ومقياس الاتجاه نحو البيئة، حيث تم تطبيقهم قبليًا وبعديًا، وقد أظهرت نتائج البحث بأن هناك فاعلية للبرنامج التدريبي في تنمية الأداء التدريسي لمعلمي الكيمياء بالمرحلة الثانوية ‏بمعدل كسب لبليك (1.23)، وكذلك هناك فاعلية للبرنامج التدريبي في تنمية الإنجاز المعرفي لمعلمي الكيمياء بالمرحلة الثانوية ‏بمعدل كسب لبليك (1.26)، وفي تنمية السلوك البيئي بمعدل كسب لبليك (1.24)‏، وفي تنمية الاتجاه نحو البيئة بمعدل كسب لبليك (1.21) مما يشير إلى فاعلية البرنامج في تنمية الأداء التدريسي والوعي البيئي لدى معلمي الكيمياء بالمملكة العربية السعودية، ويوصى البحث بضرورة استمرار تدريب معلمي الكيمياء بالمرحلة الثانوية على أبعاد التنمية المستدامة لتنمية الأداء التدريسي والوعي البيئي لديهم.

This research aimed to study the effectiveness of a proposed training program based on the dimensions of sustainable development in enhancing the instructional performance and environmental awareness of secondary school chemistry teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study employed the quasi-experimental method using a one-group (pre-post) design. The research sample consisted of thirty (30) chemistry teachers at the secondary level from the Education Directorate in Al-Qunfudhah, Makkah Region.The researcher developed the training program based on the dimensions of sustainable development. The research tools included an instructional performance observation checklist, a cognitive achievement test related to the program’s content, a behavioral attitudes test, and a scale for measuring attitudes toward the environment. These tools were administered both before and after the implementation of the program.The findings revealed the effectiveness of the proposed training program in developing the instructional performance of secondary school chemistry teachers, with a Hake’s Gain Score of 1.23. The program also demonstrated effectiveness in improving cognitive achievement (Hake’s Gain Score= 1.26), enhancing environmental behavior (Hake’s Gain Score = 1.24), and fostering positive attitudes toward the environment (Hake’s Gain Score= 1.21). These results indicate the program’s overall effectiveness in enhancing both instructional performance and environmental awareness among chemistry teachers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.The study recommends the continued training of secondary school chemistry teachers on the dimensions of sustainable development to further improve their instructional
