This thesis was to develop accurate,sensitive and validated spectrophotometric, chemometric, electrochemical, TLC- densitometric and HPLC methods for quantitative determination of three psychotropic drugs namely; Quetiapine fumarate in presence of its related compounds, Citalopram hydrobromide in presence of its degradation products and Clonazepam drug and Aripiprazole in presence of its degradation products. and simultaneous determination of Aripiprazole and co-administered Clonazepam in human plasma. The proposed methods were validated according to the ICH guidelines. The obtained results were statistically comparedwith those obtained from the reference HPLC method, showing no significant difference with respect to accuracy and precision
