The work has resulted in the synthesis of a variety of 3 - thienyl thiophene derivatives, amide derivatives, thieno [c] pyrimidine derivatives, phenylhydrazone derivatives and 2, 3 - dihydrothieno [2, 3 - d] pyrimidin - 4 (1H) - one derivatives. The synthesized products were evaluated against cancer and normal cell lines
