Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Mechanical Power Engineering Summary: The main objective of this research is to study the air flow patterns and thermal comfort in bus cabin and estimate best cases to create a healthy and comfortable environment for passengers. The investigation is done by ANSYS FLUENT17.2. Four Parts of research are investigated including ten cases.The first part investigates the effect of change of the outlet angle on the air flow patterns and thermal comfort in the bus cabin. The second part shows the effect of changing the outlet velocities on the thermal comfort. The third part presents the circular and rectangular outlet above every passenger{u2019}s head without any adjustable angle. The fourth part presents two different design of linear air supply outlet. A comparison is carried out between all cases and estimated the best design which has preferable thermal comfort for the passenger
