إن اﻟﻣﻧظﻣﺎت اﻟدوﻟﯾﺔ ﻏﯾــر اﻟﺣﻛوﻣﯾﺔ ﺗﻠﻌـب دورا ﻣﻬﻣﺎ فى ﻣﺟﺎل ﺣﻘـوق اﻹﻧﺳﺎن، ﺣﯾــث ﺗﻘـوم ﺑﻣراﻗﺑــﺔ اﻻﻧﺗﻬﺎﻛﺎت اﻟواﻗﻌﺔ ﻋﻠﻰ ﺣﻘوق اﻹﻧﺳﺎن، وﻣن ﺧﻼل اﻟﻣداﺧﻼت اﻟتى ﺗﻘـوم ﺑﻬﺎ ﻟدى اﻟﺳﻠطﺔ اﻟﻣﻌﻧﯾﺔ و لدى اﻟــرأى اﻟﻌﺎم اﻟﻣﺣلى و اﻟدولى ﺑﻬدف وﺿﻊ ﺣد ﻟﻬذﻩ اﻻﻧﺗﻬﺎﻛﺎت، فهى ﺗﻘــوم ﺑدور اﻟﻣراﻗـب على ﺣﻘـوق اﻟﻣﺟﺗﻣﻊ و أﻓـاردﻩ، و ﻣـن ﻫﻧـﺎ ﺟـﺎءت أﻫﻣﯾـﺔ دراﺳـﺔ دور اﻟﻣﻧظﻣﺎت اﻟدوﻟﯾﺔ ﻏﯾر اﻟﺣﻛوﻣﯾﺔ فى دﻋـم ﻋﻣﻠﯾﺎت ﺣﻔـظ اﻟـﺳﻼم فى إﻗﻠـﯾم دارﻓـور ، ﺣﯾـث ﺳـﻠطﺎت ﻫـذﻩ اﻟدراﺳﺔ اﻟﺿوء ﻋﻠﻰ ﻋﻣﻠﯾﺎت اﻷﻣم اﻟﻣﺗﺣدة ﻟﺣﻔظ الـﺳﻠم و اﻟتى ﻟوﺣظ أن ﻏﺎﻟﺑﯾﺔ فى اﻟﻘﺎرة اﻷﻓرﯾﻘﯾﺔ. ﺗـم اﻻﺳﺗرﺷـﺎد ﺑــﺷﻛل رﺋﯾـﺳى ﺑﺎﻟﻣﻧﻬﺞ اﻟﻣؤﺳـﺳى اﻟﻘﺎﻧونى ﺑﺎﻋﺗﺑﺎرﻩ اﻟﻣﻧﻬﺞ اﻟﻣﻧﺎﺳـب ﻟطﺑﯾﻌﺔ ف فىﻩ اﻟدراﺳـﺔ، ﺣﯾـث اﻋﺗﺑـر دور اﻟﻣﻧظﻣﺎت اﻟدوﻟﯾﺔ ﻏﯾر اﻟﺣﻛوﻣﯾﺔ فى دﻋم ﻋﻣﻠﯾﺎت اﻷﻣـم اﻟﻣﺗﺣدة ﻟﺣﻔـظ اﻟﺳﻠم ﺑﻣﺛﺎﺑﺔ اﻟﻧظﺎم اﻟذى ﯾﺗم دراﺳـته و ﺗﺣﻠﯾﻠﻪ فى إطﺎر ﺑﯾﺋﺗﻪ اﻟداﺧﻠﯾﺔ و اﻟﺧﺎرﺟﯾﺔ، ﻛﻣﺎ ﺗم اﻻﺳﺗرﺷﺎد أﯾﺿﺎ ﺑﻣﻧﻬﺞ دراﺳﺔ اﻟﺣﺎﻟـﺔ ﺣﯾـث ﺗـم اﻟﻧظـر إلى ﻋﻣﻠﯾﺔ ﻛﻣﻧظﻣﺔ دوﻟية ﻏﯾـر ﺣﻛوﻣﯾﺔ فى دﻋم ﻋﻣﻠﯾﺎت اﻷﻣم اﻟﻣﺗﺣدة لحفظ اﻟﺳﻠم فى إﻗﻠﯾم دارﻓور.
