درس الباحث المؤشرات : جودة الخدمة ، والأداء التشغيلى ، أداء الصيانة بالورش وأداء المعدات وإعتمد الباحث على البيانات الموجودة ضمن السجلات والنماذج الموجودة بالمكتب الفني لدى الشركة المصريه لاداره وتشغيل مترو الانفاق بالإضافة إلى برامج تحليل وعرض البيانات لتطبيق نظام الإدارة المتكامل وأثره فى التحسين . التعريف بنظام إدارة الجودة ISO 9001 عرفت الجمعية الأمريكية لضبط الجودة (ASQC) والمؤسسة الأوروبية لضبط الجودة (EOQC) الجودة بأنها: " المجموع الكلى للمزايا والخصائص التى تؤثر فى قدرة المنتج أو الخدمة على تلبية حاجات معينة". وهناك من يضيف بأنها: " تلبية الحاجات الواضحة والضمنية، وتشير الحاجات الضمنية إلى رضا الزبون".
أما معهد الجودة الفيدرالى الأمريكى فإنه عرف الجودة بأنها: أداء العمل الصحيح وبشكل صحيح من المرة الأولى، مع الإعتماد على تقييم المستفيد فى معرفة مدى تحسن الأداء. والجودة حسب المعايير اليابانية هى: "نظام الوسائل المعنية بالإنتاج الإقتصادى لسلع أو خدمات لها جودة تتوافق مع متطلبات المشترى، وهى تعمل كذلك على تطوير وإنتاج سلع أكثر إقتصاداً وإستعمالاً وإرضاءً للمشترى ". كما جاء بتعريف كلية الهندسة جامعة المنصورة

The researcher studied the indicators: service quality, operational performance, workshop maintenance performance, and equipment performance. The researcher relied on the data contained in the records and forms in the technical office of the Egyptian Company for the Management and Operation of the Subway, in addition to programs for analyzing and displaying data to implement the integrated management system and its impact on improvement.Definition of ISO 9001 Quality Management System : The American Society for Quality Control (ASQC) and the European Foundation for Quality Control (EOQC) defined quality as: "The sum total of the features and characteristics that affect the ability of a product or service to meet specific needs." Some add that it is: "Meeting explicit and implicit needs, and implicit needs refer to customer satisfaction." As for the American Federal Quality Institute, it defined quality as: doing the right job correctly the first time, relying on the beneficiary's evaluation to know the extent of performance improvement. Quality according to Japanese standards is: "A system of means concerned with the economic production of goods or services that have a quality that matches the buyer's requirements, and it also works to develop and produce goods that are more economical, usable and satisfying to the buyer."
