Dissertation note: Thesis (M.Sc.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Engineering - Department of Civil Engineering Summary: The aim of this study is to investigate the behavior of ferrocement slabs exposure to elevated temperature under punching. Ten slab column connections were tested; the specimens have been divided into five groups. The test variables were the opening meshes size, diameter of meshes bars, elevated temperature exposure and fighting procedure. It is found that using ferrocement meshes instead of steel improve the punching shear resistance and the best design of ferrocement against fire consist of 10 layers with opening size 70x70 mm and 4 mm diameter
