Dissertation note: Thesis (M.A.) - Cairo University - Faculty of Arts - Department of Japanese Summary: This research provides an explanation and analysis to the meanings and methods of using the tools of cause and reason in Japanese and Arabic language. The study is also concerned with analyzing the original meaning of each tool and its usage within the sentence. The aim of this study is to clarify the minor and semantic differences of each tool by using a parallel approach to clarify similarities and differences between them in both languages. Accordingly, the research provides some suggestions that will help the students and the translators to use these tools correctly
